His Excellency Eric Chevallier, the Ambassador of France to Qatar, graciously accepted our invitation to visit Modern Recycling Factory (MRF). Our aim was to provide him with a comprehensive understanding of the advanced recycling initiatives undertaken in Qatar, particularly those spearheaded by MRF.
Upon his arrival, Ambassador Chevallier was greeted by our CEO, Mr. Akram Ibrahim, who personally escorted him on a detailed tour of the facility. Representatives from Qatar TV and Qatar Tribune Newspaper were also present to cover this significant visit.
During the tour, Ambassador Chevallier witnessed firsthand the meticulous processes employed by MRF, transforming discarded tires into a diverse range of high-quality rubber products. The Ambassador was given a thorough presentation showcasing our product line, emphasizing the rigorous laboratory testing each product undergoes to ensure adherence to the highest quality and safety standards. He was particularly impressed by the TRIAX 2015 surface impact testing, which guarantees the durability and resilience of our products.
Ambassador Chevallier expressed his admiration for MRF’s dedication to environmental sustainability and economic development, stating, “What is commendable to see here is the transformation of waste into high-quality products, and it is all done here in Qatar and by a Qatari company.” He further emphasized this point, adding, “This integrated recycling plant clearly demonstrates the capacity of Qatar to develop its self-sustained industry as well as its potential in terms of its economic diversification leading to what can be seen here in the form of its high-quality production.”
Beyond the technological advancements, Ambassador Chevallier was deeply impressed by the commitment to excellence exhibited throughout MRF. He commended the factory’s immaculate environment, the well-organized operations, and the professionalism and dedication displayed by our team.
Sharing his observations, he remarked, “The factory is clean, well-organized [with a] professional and caring staff. It has the most developed ways of production, and I’m impressed by the improved automatic machinery that minimizes the risk [to] manpower and keep[s] the manpower safe and in control.”
As a testament to his positive experience, Ambassador Chevallier bestowed upon MRF an impressive rating of 9.5 out of 10. He expressed his strong endorsement of MRF, stating, “I would highly recommend MRF to friends to visit to see the beautiful quality products provided & get the impression that I had of the output efforts in the recycling industry in Qatar”. He concluded by commending the safety and high quality of our products, especially those designed with children’s well-being in mind.
